Disable the "Learn More" feature.

Would be nice if we could disable the learn more section as it isn't the most accurate at times. For example, this response was one of the custom responses we created, but it added an unnecessary learn more to the end:

Yeah, we would love to be able to disable this ASAP. From further testing, it seems to be giving out super random references to topics that aren't even related.

On the technical side, I would suggest using vector embeddings to measure the similarity of the given customer query to the potentially suggestable articles to see if it passes a similarity threshold before recommending. 😉

Thanks for this. Would you want to be able to always turn it off, or you only want it off in certain situations?

I'm actually not quite sure, in some cases it's super useful, but in others it links to totally unrelated places.

Like in this case it did a perfect job:

It's nice that it gave the user the dev docs link where they could learn more about setting up the widget.

Maybe have it add it only if its very confident it's relevant? Might be hard to implement tho. I think we could just adjust the training data from our end to remove some of these more generic pages it's referencing. We currently added our landing page to the training as well cause it's also got lots of nice info there to reference.

Just realized this, but I think just disabling the Learn More section for the Custom Responses we created would solve this problem in like 90% of the cases. Have the custom response just display as we created it with nothing else added.

Thanks, Robi, we'll look into how we can implement this.

The AI model is fed lots of information, including custom answers, and right now we don't have a method that tells us 100% whether the answer came from the custom answer only, or whether some other information was retrieved.

I'll take this one away to think through in more detail though as I can see why this would be much slicker & clearer for the end user.

          Is that okay?
